are really twisted dreams part of depression?

Well can it be associated with it? I have..horrible dreams. Im goin to the docs on the 22nd to check myself out..because im finally admitting I have some kind of problem, not sure what yet. I've confirmed many symptoms but not completely sure it is what I have.. Including losing weight, extreme nausea, easily irritable, crying for no reason, a sense of hopelessness etc. I've had bad dreams for ..idk how long. I can't seem to remember the last good dream I've had. An example of these twisted dreams..are ..myself being involved in a murder, a girl I do not know. I killed her with another girl using an electric chainsaw.

Another would be..escaping with my family from a huge building. We had to kill these people who were after us. I had a butcher knife. Very bloody. In my dream I accidentally hurt my youngest brother. I cried and cried telling my family I was sorry and that I was jus getting in the way. I ran by myself. Out of the building. Leaving my family behind like a coward.

Please don't judge me. These were dreams.

    rest assured i wont judge. bad dreams can be a sign of depression, buh it can just be dreams.

    given the symptoms that you included it seems that you could possibliy be suffering from depression.

    the constant depressed feeling can be exhauting for your brain. do you think of any thoughts like this while you are awake?

    I agree with the first guy. He/she should probably get best answer. Just saying. I will say that I’ve had WEIRD dreams while depressed I once had a dream that I appeared in a white room. Then all of these naked men and women appeared. They were all bald. Then one of them pulled this knife out of nowhere and stabbed themself in the chest. Then they all started to bleed in that same place. Blood was everywhere. It got all over me. I woke up screaming.
