has anyone replaced the sprocket in the guide bar of their chainsaw ?

I bought a new bar a month ago for one of my saws and the sprocket in the end of the bar broke yesterday. I never replaced a sprocket and wonder if you can fix it or if I need to buy a new bar.
this is not the drive spocket, it's the one in the nose of the bar.

Hi, I've sold chainsws for a long time, and I have never seen on the paperwork on changing the sprocket. I don't think you can. Better get another bar,as you don't want to risk an injury to yourself,or another. Those parts arn't even offered for sale. Byee

I always just purchased a new bar I am not sure the sproket can be replaced without the proper equipment. If you do you may run the risk of the chain coming off the bar and seriuos injury so be careful.

They are not replaceable. You need a new bar.
