Husqvarna is known for making some truly amazing chainsaws and the 353 is no different.
Purpose
It is mid range chainsaw, aimed for home owners and others who don’t need a high end chainsaw to take care of their chopping activities.
Our Opinion
These chainsaws are heavy duty and will definitely keep the enthusiast and the beginner content with its feature list. Some of its prominent features include vibration isolation and a very respectable power to weight ratio. Since it is a lightweight chainsaw, the power developed by the chainsaw is more than adequate for getting the job done. On direct comparison, one might feel like the power is a little less, but look closely and you will notice that the power is more than adequate to drive a machine of this size.
Additionally, this chainsaw is also known to be a clean burner. Upon prolonged hours of usage, one will not smell of oil or fuel, and this chainsaw ensures that it does the job in a neat and tidy manner. Furthermore, the chainsaw is also known to be easy to maintain and clean as well, since there are provisions to enable the user to clean it effortlessly.
Conclusion
The only problem, if you have to nitpick, would be that this machine might be slightly inconvenient for tall individuals as the bar/chain is not too long. But, for around $370, you are getting a truly versatile machine that is a perfect fit for homes and is also not a hassle to maintain.
