I have a branch rubbing on my roof?

It's about 40 foot up and I am afraid to climb any heights, I've got my sisters kid Lil Suzie staying for the weekend so I thought she might take the electric chainsaw while I hold the ladder and cut it off.

Suzie is only four but she's fearless and the saw is pretty light. I'll tape down the safety switch as she seems to not be coordinated enough to press that and then pull the trigger. I'll put a sponge bob band aid on the trigger so she does not get confused. I thought I might also use the plastic collar funnel thing the vet put on my dog to keep from scratching itself that way if she looks down she will not see the ground and become frightened.
