Sadly enough, taking off the bar and chain did not give access to the clutch. The entire plastic engine case had to be taken apart to give enough space to work on the clutch. It is a poor design. Then take the cover, bar, chain, and oil plate off. Take the spark plug out, put a piece of rope in the hole. Turn the nut on the clutch (anti clockwise?) and the clutch should just pull off the crankshaft, but watch none of the needle bearings fall out cause you will need them for the new one.
