My chain on chainsaw came off the tracks or grooves. How do I repair this?

my hubby wants to know. it is not fitting onto the grooves. is there a way to take it apart and repair it?

    Best bet is to take it to your nearest supplier and they’ll have a look,probably free,then you can decide about new chains or bar.

    You can tighten the chain. My husband does on his, and when he replaces it.

    if it is not fitting on the grooves, the bar is probably bent. you will need to get a new bar. most time when you buy a new bar, they have a change that go with it.

    Back by the bar tension-er and handel there are 2 nuts that you loosen and a screw you use to adj. the tension.Loosen the nuts unscrew the tension-er screw a bit, push the bar back, put on chain,re tighten the tension-er screw,re tighten the 2 nuts and you are good till it happens again,

    Look at it. There’s a chain tension adjuster.
    Loosen this all the way, fit the chain back onto the bar,
    and tighten it up again so it doesn’t come off this time.
    If you’ve stretched the chain too much, sorry, but you’ll
    just have to replace it.
