All chainsaws are 2-cycle engines, which means you need a fuel mixture of gas and oil. All of my chainsaws require a 2:1 mixture (2 parts unleaded regular gasoline and one part 2-cycle motor oil). Fill up a gas container to the first line with gas, add the oil, then fill it up the remainder of the fraction of gasoline.
Most likely it is a 40:to1 ratio of gas to oil. It might even have it printed on the fuel cap. If it is it’s simple. Get a gallon gas can and two cycle oil from the hardware store. They even sell the oil in pre measured sizes to add to a gallon of gas. Just add the oil, mix up and your good to go. Good luck.

read the owners manual… Its usually a gas oil mix but you have to get it right or you’ll ruin the saw..
