Should I rewrite my fic? For people on Fanfiction? ?
I have this incomplete old story on fanfiction that was my first story on that site. A lot of people seemed to like it. I've got a lot of reviews telling me all the stuff they liked about so it's not all icess.
But its pretty poorly written in the first few chapters and I accidentally contradict myself a few times. I've been thinking about rewriting it and I've put up a poll asking people if I should rewrite it or not. 6 people voted 'no', 1 person voted ,I don't care' and no one voted 'yes'. I highly doubt that everyone that reads my fic voted.
But the more I think about that poorly written fic, the more I want to kill it with a chainsaw and rebuild it to make even better. I've been thinking of more ideas for it and I don't want to leave a fic unfinished.
I wounder sometimes if some of my reviewers are lying to me. Should I rewrite my fic because of errors or should I continue it since some people enjoy it? Or what?
Oh and if anyone ask, an ice is a review that goes like this "Oh love it UPDATE SOOOOOOOON!" or "UPDATE!"
The title is called, Hi! I'm Your Daughter. It's a Tokyo Mew Mew humor fic.
I called the re-written one, Hi! I'm Your Daughter Rewritten.
I've just been having this reviewer who really doesn't want me to rewrite and she seems obsessed with it.

If you think you can improve your writing, why not? You could rewrite it and them post it with other title or put "version 2" and see which one people like better, then you can either delete the most hated one or keep the two versions since that way people will be able to chose whichever they like. But I think you are the one who must decide what to do. I would rewrite if I was you, especially if you aren’t happy with the first version. I always tend to rewrite things XD

You probably should to get it more easy to follow since you said you contradict yourself several times. Just maybe fixing a few things there and there should probably be enough not necessarily rewriting it because this one person kept re-writing hers and it was like 8 chapters and she kept re posting it it got kind of annoying after awhile.
You seem pretty into rewriting it, so just go ahead and do it. Keep the old one up though, because apparently people did like it.
Try not to kill anyone with that chainsaw.
Oh and, what is the title? I want to read it.
You may as well rewrite it, especially if you’re unhappy with the original version. Also, you will probably get new fans who enjoy your story and if it’s better written, then they will thoroughly enjoy it. I say go for it.
Even if she doesn’t want you to rewrite it, it’s up to you to decide, not her.
