What does a chainsaw feel like without the chain on it?

I'm going to the scray late skate at the skating rink,and freddie jason and micheal are gonna be chasing us around on foot.Jason is bringing a chainsaw,but it doesnt have a chain on it.I want to know what it feels like.Does it feel like a vibration?

    There is a track in most chainsaw bars to hold the chain in place. This will have a rough edge it can hurt you if your friend gets too into the role, with out thinking about it and strikes someone at an angle or too hard. It can and will,cause the skin to slit open just like a knife. Especially if someone is running. or skating , and they get "sliced" You could really get sliced. I wouldn’t let him chase me with it.

    But yes it vibrates.

    If this is a public skating rink, then I would hope the chainsaw is a Prop piece . A lot of lawsuits possible, if it is real and someone gets hurt.

    It feels weird. Some guy at universal touched the back of my leg with one during the halloween special they do and it freaked me out. Yeah it kinda feels like a vibration.

    I almost sawed my arm off once with a chainsaw, It vibrated and chomped.
