What is the best way to make alot of money in the game "Rock Band"?

If i play single player, i'm only getting maybe 0 for each song that i play, and I really want to get the ,000 chainsaw guitar. What is the best way to get money for the individual character to use? I also use that character for 3-person mutliplayer band. Is there no easier way than having to play almost 90 songs?

    Well, more fans = more money. So just get a ton of fans, that might take a while though.

    Outside of raising the difficulty level I know of any other way to earn money than playing the gigs both in solo and multiplayer tours.
