All echo product use a 50:1 ratio. Make sure to use 89 octane gas as well.

A 50:1 ratio with 89 Octane fuel can be used in all Echo 2-stroke equipment, provided the oil is JASO/FC and ISO-LEGD certified. JASO/FC and ISO-LEGD oil must be used with a mid-grade (89 octane) or premium gasoline in all 1997 and newer engines.

Here is the manual:
http://www.echo-usa.com/oot/docs/CS300034003450esT1E_060302_1.pdf

DO NOT USE 40:1 in an ECHO saw!! Please!

40 to 1.Its safer to run it a little heavy with oil because you can never over lubricate a two stroke engine.also always check your bar oil when you fuel up.when you go to the garden store two stroke oil comes in small bottles that will mix with 1 gal of fuel..

50 to1- but it never hurts to overlubricate a 2 cycle motor so, you might want to see how it runs at 40 to1.

just use echo 2 cycle mix, its a high quality synthetic blend that makes a 50:1 ratio that you can use in all 2 cycles no matter the ratio.

That is correct... it is 50:1 (2.6 ounces of air cooled engine certified 2 stroke oil, per one gallon)

40:1 will not hurt it though (3.2 ounces per one gallon)
