    Use it to cut down a couple of trees.
    The heat and rubbing through the wood will both remove it and burn it. Then I’d suggest just easing the chain tension and dipping it into a cleaning fluid.

    The main problem with using a chainsaw is the mess it makes around. So burn all clothes you were wearing and make sure that the cutting ground is not close to your house.

    I always had problems with that. Nothing will get it clean. you need to replace the chain. If you insist on cleaning the chain, then the best stuff to do that is only sold to crime scene cleanup company. You can get that number from any PD. I always call and give my name, address and phone number (this cleaner has to be logged out) and I tell them exactly why I need the cleaner. Once you do that, you will not believe how fast they get it out to you! (talk about customer service.
